It’s the frock that begat a frenzy. At the end of June, Michelle Obama elected to wear a breezy black-and-white cotton print, off-the-rack Donna Ricco number on the TV show The View…and the rest is history. Women around the country started snapping up the dress, which retails for $148 at White House/Black Market stores. The dress quickly sold out but similar styles are everywhere now, and suddenly, the local fashion landscape is awash with everything that’s fit to print.
