We caught Juliana while she was out… Shopping downtown, looking for sweaters and gloves.
For Halloween, she dressed up as… Wonder Woman. “I like that she has a lot of a power and is more of a leader. And she saves people.” 
Wonder Woman’s most enviable superpower: Being able to fly. “I’m terrified of flying and afraid of heights, but if I were in control, I would love it.”
Best book she’s read recently: The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini
Asheville could use more… Restaurants that stay open later. “I’m always getting kicked out of restaurants. I’m a slow eater. I like to go out with my friends, and I enjoy sitting there being with them. I don’t like to rush.”
And less… Traffic and cars. She’s in favor of redirecting traffic away from downtown.
If Juliana were the new president in January, she would fix: Taxes. “I’m worried about Obama’s tax plan. I don’t want to be paying a lot of taxes, so I’d reduce taxes overall.”
And if she were queen? “Everyone would have cozy, comfortable clothes.”
